The train station at McAdam, NB. This was originally a CPR junction on the mainline between Montreal and Saint John, with the branch to the resort town of St. Andrews. The CPR Algonquin Hotel at St. Andrews was a major tourist destination and to deal with passengers making a connection the CPR built an imposing station, hotel, and restaurant. The railroad is now the New Brunswick Southern, no passenger trains pass this way, and the station complex is now under restoration as a museum. The former lunch room is open for special occasions.
