August 24, 2018. It is busy at Rockwood while the D&S crews get the second train of the day ready to leave. This during the period when the line was washed out between Rockwood and Hermosa and trains were originating at Rockwood with passengers bussed from Durango.

August 25, 2018. Photo line along the road just west of Cresco. Jim Wrinn of Trains magazine has his safety vest on. In the distance the chartered freight approaches the stretch of track known as Orgasm for the many derailments caused by moisture and soft track.
August 26, 2018. While visiting Cumbres Pass I noticed this very nice kiosk with some information about the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad National Historic Site, and one photo looked awfully familiar, the one in the center with the fall color.
Upon closer inspection it was indeed one of my images, and with proper credit. I had no idea they had used my picture, and certainly no problem with it. Just surprised.
